Common questions from lodge officers
Who runs the account for our lodge?
Usually the Secretary. You can give logins to the Worshipful Master, Treasurer and any brother who helps with the website or store.
Does LodgeNet hold any ritual?
No. Minutes record lodge business only, and there is nowhere to store ritual or degree work.
How do store proceeds reach our charity?
Payments go straight to the lodge's own PayPal, Venmo or Cash App account. LodgeNet never holds the money. Each sale or donation is tagged to the fund you chose, so the Treasurer can report what every fundraiser raised.
How does the sponsor search work?
On the Pipelines tab, an officer enters the lodge's ZIP code, a radius and what kind of business to look for. LodgeNet searches the web, scores each business 0 to 100 on how likely it is to sponsor a lodge, shows the evidence, and writes a suggested ask. Good matches go to Sponsors with one press.
Is a recorded meeting kept anywhere?
No audio is ever kept. The browser turns the business portion into text, Claude fills in the short form from it, and only the fields the Secretary checks and saves are stored.
How were the "bought separately" prices worked out?
Each is the entry-level paid plan of a well-known tool in that category (Squarespace, WildApricot, Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Otter.ai, Apollo.io, HubSpot, GiveWP and Teamup), at its lowest published monthly rate, checked in October 2026. They're estimates: vendors change prices and most charge more for extra users or contacts.
Can our Grand Lodge set this up for every lodge?
Yes. Grand Lodge Level puts every constituent lodge on one account, with the Grand Lodge's own website and a jurisdiction-wide calendar. Districts and Scottish Rite Valleys have their own levels too.
